Level 3 IT Operations Support Consultant

We are looking for a senior Wintel support technician to join our team to assist with the well running and management of our client systems. If you have recent experience in Level 3 Systems support or network engineering positions and are looking to move away from the city or continue a great life in the country near the coast. This is the position for you.
Role:
Provide remote and onsite support to customers and staff of TNN. Primary responsibility is to provide our customers with advice, support and assistance to manage their Microsoft Windows infrastructure ensuring a stable secure platform from which to run their business. Provide guidance to junior staff, provide a senior point of escalation for issues from Level 1/2 TNN Wintel support staff, implement/diagnose/resolve complex server/network issues, and support the consultation processes for new work. This role involves flexible hours that include some out of normal business hours work and travel.
Reporting: To the manager TNN IT Operations currently Simon Worboys.
Technology: It will be your responsibility to efficiently assist in the implementation and maintenance of the following environments for our clients:

Thin client, Microsoft Windows workstation and server environments,

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, RDP, SharePoint, SQL, CRM, WSUS, SBS, Storage, Backup and Anti-Virus,

Dial-up, routing, remote access, VPN, http, smtp, and VoIP,
-
Line of Business applications in use by our clients include MYOB, Affinity, ESS Smart Client and Rock End products,

Partners include Microsoft, Trend Micro, Cisco, Storage Craft, Exetel and Labtech Software,
You will need to possess:
-
High level of knowledge of current technologies including Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation OS, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL,

Ability to explain, implement and supervise the ITIL incident management process and problem resolution techniques,
-
3 years’ experience diagnosing issues of common hardware & software issues via remote, phone & face-to-face communications,
-
Great documentation & communication skills,
-
Smart appearance.
Essential:

Current relevant MCITP,
-
Current drivers licence,
-
Must reside within Australia,
-
Must be legally able to work in Australia,
-
Must have excellent customer service “people skills”.
Desirable: Relevant IT tertiary qualifications, CCNA, experience with Linux, own car
